A comedy improv theatre in Thousand Oaks, California!

Featuring live entertainment, workshops and classes!

Free Range Comedy SoCal is a non-profit 501(c)(3) improv theatre group in Thousand Oaks California! We’re a hatchling of Free Range Comedy Maui, where Free Ranging Comedy was born! A decades long background of improvisational comedy training in LA, AZ, and HI, combined with decades of theatre.

Weekly classes and visiting workshop teachers from LA and NY will be the strength of Free Range Comedy SoCal! Regular performances and community connections strengthen our improvisors, and expansion with youth classes and corporate trainings is in the works! Artistic Director Victoria (Vicki) McGee and Managing Director William (Bill) Hubbard have energy and vision to guide Free Range Comedy SoCal to an exciting improv destination in Conejo Valley.

"Free Range is an ensemble driven improv comedy organization in Maui & SoCal that nurtures the best of what this work and creative art form is all about. At Free Range they teach, perform, and have fun while allowing you to get out of your comfort zone.  Sign up for classes now, Check out a drop in, or just go see a show!"--Mark Beltzman

Out of an abundance of caution and to keep our students, performers, and audiences safe, we are suspending all classes and shows further notice. If you'd like to help us keep our doors open until then, you can send us a little chicken scratch at this link! Thanks for all your support!
